Reflections on a Seattle Life

Janelle: I moved to Seattle from California in July of 2003 and have been in love with the city ever since. Seattleites look at me like I'm crazy when I say I came not for a job or a relationship, but to experience somewhere new and different. This city has taught me so much about what's most important in life: comfort and security in myself and the choices I make. Good or bad, something good will always come out of it. I have met the most amazing people and have learned something important from every one of those individuals. I have been lucky to live in a beautiful city with mountains surrounded by water and evergreens. A city with amazing restaurants where you can get a glass of wine alone and end up with three new friends. I am happy to be here and can't wait to start sharing my experiences in this new blog.
